Now this is how i see it... Bangladesh (Ranked 10th) defeated South Africa who were Ranked 2nd), and now Ireland (ranked 14th/15) defeated Bangladesh..
does that makes them the 2nd best team in the world? lol

yes,Bangladesh (Ranked 10th) defeated South Africa who were Ranked 2nd), and now Ireland (ranked 14th/15) defeated Bangladesh makes them the 2nd best team in the world but south africa defeated ireland so they are the second best team, australia beated south africa so they are the best team in the world.

south africa is (are?) VERY overrated. theyre def not the 2nd best team in the world (and theyve proved that this tournament), and are barely in the top 4, behind aus, nz and srilanka
got creamed by aussies and kiwis, and only just got home against srilanka
- kallis is a good batsman, but is not only incredibly selfish but is also not a team player
- pollock is FAR past his prime and his bowling is on the major decline
- graeme smith has never been a good batsman, been ages since he had a decent knock (maybe 1), not to mention a crap captain, espec when compared to fleming, ponting and jayawardene/jayasuriya

They are playing very good cricket like professionals.
They have 2-3 very good batsman & 2 good seamers. But yet to perform against the top teams to rank them as one of the best top teams.
I think they should get TEST standard.
But can they beat the great Sri Lankans?

Bangladesh has proven that they are asians.........who can never be predicted ! "the Unpredictable asians".oneday they would win against the best and second day they would lose against an average team ! i think this thing add some fun to this game ........No??? Bangladesh and Ireland are capable of only causing upsets once in a while and cannot repeat their performance consistently. So despite their upset victories, they still stand where they are and will remain to be there till they start playing well consistently..
