I seriously doubt that the tissue is causing any kind of problems. As we get older our periods change. I never got cramps in highschool, but started to into my 20's and beyond. If you are very concerned go get a check up at the OBGYN.
But other than that, not much you can do about menstrual cramps except take a midol (yes they work great). Ive heard exercising can help, doesn't work on me though.

I seriously doubt that there is any link between using a tissue as extra protection against leaks would ever have anything to do with period pain.

It's possible that gaining or losing weight could cause some pain.

If it continues, go see a doctor.

i very much doubt that the two are linked. have you put on weight, or started hormonal contraception? these can contribute to heavier and more painful periods. if not i would see your doctor in case you have endometriosis or polycystic ovaries. but don't worry, it may simply be hormonal changes.

I don't believe that can be the cause of more pain. try a panty liner on top of your pad bcz it seems more sanitary, then change that every time.

I doubt that there is any link. you may be getting period pains because your body is always changing. As a woman the older we get the more our bodies develop. I wouldn't worry yourself.
