It got good reviews, it's a blast to go to, especially for the horror/suspense crowd, and you certainly get a lot of entertainment for your buck (2 movies in one!). Just because I enjoyed it doesn't mean that it's everybody's cup of tea (my wife would HATE it), but I didn't think it would tank THIS badly. . . .your thoughts??

I thought it was great. I'd buy it on DVD too. It's not for everyone, but if you like those stupid "scary movie" spoof type things and you like gratuitous gore and sex then I'd highly recommend it. I thougt it was a lot of fun.

i think of the challenge became into that it became into attempting to create the grindhouse moviegoing adventure for an purpose industry that (ordinarily) became into unfamiliar with grindhouses, had in no way been to one, and had no physique of reference for them. in case you have in no way long gone to a grindhouse previously, the movie's sort does no longer propose plenty, except you have been a severe pupil of exploitation cinema. That stated, i'm no longer able to bear in mind the final time I had plenty exciting at a movie.

People know the movie through the previews. The previews weren't that good and the movie came off as cheesy/campy. I think people think it is too far fetched and overly dramatic. Plus, people think Quinten Terrentino is a weirdo. I mean, he does have good movies, however, they are twisted. Also, I think this 1970's cult-type genre wasn't a good approach.

I loved Grindhouse but it was to long and the really-REALLY big mistake was releasing it during Easter weekend. This movie will be a classic as years go by.

People are into newer movies and the preview to this double feature was LAME and made the movie look like an oldie.

I didn't realize that it had came out already... I actually intend to go see it. I think one reason may be that it doesn't have anyone who is really hot right now. They have really played it up, but people don't have a clue what it is really about. I guess people just don't get it.

Seriously? All I needed was one shot of Rose McGowan and that stupid gun leg to know it was a crappy movie.

Everyone I know who saw it complained that it was too long.

maybe because it sucks?
maybe because to disfigure a beautiful woman is ridiculous?
maybe the whole concept is not so fresh or preceptive?
