Well, I'm not sure what you're asking but I will say this in defence (replying to all the people who say it is against Jesus, or unholy or demonic etc);;;; I am a Methodist Christian and practice White Magick. Magick is just a manipulation of the energies to make something more sueful to us, just like science (chemistry and physics). And if you're forgetting... Miracles are simply Magick under a different name. Jesus said we could do that and more. So bite me. Bite me hard.

ANYWAY!!! On with the answer ^_^
Types of witchcraft, in basic element are seperable into two types- Religions and Pathways. Wiccan, and Pagan, are both religions. Whereas the Angelic Way is a pathway/life choice, and so are many forms of fortue telling. Romany Gypsies practice witchcraft as a custom!

Then you can split it into White Magick, Blue Magick, Red Magick and Black Magick.
White:: the type I practice. manipulation of energies, using onnly the metaphysical catalyst.
Blue:: Using only energies from sources such as light from the sun, or life from plants
Red Magick:: That which cannot be felt or seen and is influencial only. It is practices only through will and no other. This died out in Arthurian type times and has not been revived since it is though that no human has the power to use it.
Black Magick:: perfoming spells/rituals/magick that would have any harming effect on another i.e. revenge, or simply a spell that would need the harming of an animal. It also includes tampering with someone's free will (forcing them to do something or feel something without their permission), and harming the flow of nature and time.

There are many practices in wach category- most are variations of another. Divination, Influencial, Physical, Cause and Effect, and Self-Beneficial are all different types of Magick ^_^

If you want eny more information like on any practices etc then feel free to email me at missytetra@yahoo.co.uk and I will be happy to help you out! In love and light, Tasha x

Witches come in many different denominations as does Wicca (witch and Wiccan are not necessarily the same thing). Not all witches are Wiccan. Raymond Buckland has a fair book on witchcraft called Buckland's book of Witchcraft that may be of some help for you. Many witches simply cannot be categorized because they are eclectic solitaries who are following their own paths. Some, like myself, will take a certain path and modify it to be what they need. I believe the only ones who have set rules and rituals may be some Wiccan covens. But, if I am not mistaken, all witches follow what has been dubbed "The Wiccan Rede" and that is do as thou wilt an' in it harm none. And the law of 3. Hope this has helped.

you will desire to circulate Neopaganism and Witchcraft off your record. Neopaganism isn't a faith in line with say; that's the renewing and updating of old Pagan practices and adapting them to the well-liked international, in assessment to reconstructionism, that adapts the well-liked existence of persons around the old Paganism. Say one guy is a reconstructionist-Heathen and one female is a Neopagan-Heathen: they the two have faith interior the comparable Gods and practices, yet they only carry out them in a distinctive way. As for Witchcraft, it is not a faith the two. Witchcraft is a potential of communing with spirits, nature, the Gods, the self and the record is going on. you could say which you have faith Witchcraft is real or works, yet you will often discover that like Shamanism it truly is a, possibly very super, piece of an extremely super puzzle that varieties a faith. Already i'm saying myself as a Heathen-Troll, yet Polytheism is in simple terms a term that refers back to the perception in many Gods. In itself Polytheism isn't a faith. yet once you desire to proceed the record because it truly is, i will propose Heathenism, Egyptian- and Greecian-Paganism, Oriental Shinto and Ancestry-Worship.

I suggest that you go to www.witchvox.com and sites like that and research it out. It really is too complicated to go into here. This question will probably get you alot of christian blah blah blah answers so if you are interested seriously you need to look into authors like Scott Cunningham and Raymond Buckland. Good Luck. Blessed Be.
