This book report is being written to Mr. Arias for World History class.

I don't like how it sounds and this is what he wants in the sentence. = the first sentence should state for which instructor and class the book -report is being written.
please anyone help.

I would write it like this:

This book report is being written for Mr. Arias's World History Class.

I've never learned to write directly what a report is for, so I already dislike what your teacher is telling you to do. But your sentence is what he asked, so what more can you do, you know?

However, to make it sound a little better, try this: "This book report is being written for Mr. Arias' World History class."

I really can't find why you don't like it. Its what he wants so as long as he likes it that's what counts, isn't it?
