Kurt Vonnegut is a great author is so is Kate Chopin. May be you could get one of their books. Kate wrote a long time ago back when women weren't suppose to be writing so it makes it that much more interesting to read. I would tell you James Fry, A Million Little Pieces, but after I found out on Oprah that he made half of it up it just ruined the book for me. There are so many great authors out there. What I would recommend anyone to do is go to the bookstore, and buy a book from an author you have never heard of and read it. That is how I have come across some of my favorites. You'll have your bad books, but it's all worth it in the long run!

"The Assassins" by Oliver North. I was "glued" to this book from first to last page. It was the third in a series of three books but I didn't realize it until I'd finished reading the book. If you like the action on "24" you'll probably enjoy this book!!! It also suggests a lot of the world politics that we're now living with . . .
