Can you tell me what a popular teenage pastime was in the 60's as well as a typical saturday night date?

My girlfriends and I used to go into town every Saturday afternoon. We'd follow boys from school, drink cokes and eat fries at one of the three or four hangout spots teens went to a lot. We'd buy records and teen magazines and then tape the pics all over our bedrooom walls the next day. A typical date was the movies, or a dance...sometimes a party. Hope that helps.

MY pastime in the 60s......I had a paper route,,,,several in fact!,,,,,,from the time I got home till dusk I was delivering newspapers,,,or collecting the money,,from JR high till a JR in high school,,,,I earned money for my bike,,,then my car and clothes,,and my comics,,,,strange today most kids wont try a paper route,,mow lawns ,,about anything,,babysitters are getting $8 p/h?,,WTF??

i used to listen to the radio with all my family..my favorite pastime though was to solve crosswords
