If the area is 32 and depending on what units you are using, you can get it by finding the square route of 32.

Each side of the square is 5.6568542...
and you should round up to 2 decimal places with length so it's 5.66

just do 32 square root on a calculator.

I got

5.6568542494923801952067548968388 lol

but i think 5.66 will be alright, so each side is 5.66 and th total area is 32.0356, which is accurate enough for most people, unless youre doing a phd in maths or something, but if youre son was i doubt hed need to ask us.

Hope that helps a bit.

use the pc's calculator tap in 32, and click the 'sqrt' button if you wanna confirm it.

If the area is 32 square units, then each side must be just over 5.6 units.

If the PERIMETER is 32 units, then each side must be 8 units.

the area of a square is the sides squared.
A=s^2
since A is 32, square root it to get the sides.
