mine happened today and im still sick to the stomach , we went to the beach and my youngest (18 months) was paddling along a small bit of water, i turned to get a towel for 2 seconds and she was under water, it was the scariest thing ever! I didnt even know it was deep at all, i was horrified and didnt take my eye off her for a second after that, luckily she was fine, what is the worse thing thats happened to you?

I was in college (sophmore year). My sister came and found me in my english lit class. She told me to meet her at her work after class. I thought she wanted to show me something..or what not. When I arrived in her office..she closed the door and told me that "mom died". (my stomach sinks just thinking about it still).

I had left my mom that morning (since being a commuter for college). She wanted me to wear this old lady looking type of hat..because it was cold and snowy ..I didn't want to be caught dead in it at the bus stop. She said that she was going to go back to bed for a while...and then get up and go to work...(she was a school teacher). My dad thought she had over slept...so he went to wake her..and she would not wake up. She had died.
