i think giuliani, R, and clinton or obama, D....in either case the country isn't ready for a woman or a black man, so rudy will win....which i don't think is too terrible, he is a republican but he's not hyper conservative....and with a democrat majority in the house, i think that balance will actually do a lot of good to restore SOME unity in the peoples' minds...it could actually be a productive four years if it played out the way i would expect it too!

Not just because he's my candidate of choice, but based on the latest polls coming out of Iowa and New Hampshire, John Edwards is the frontrunner for the Democrats. Clinton and Obama may have raised the most money, but we know for a fact based on the 2004 election, that does not always equate to winning the nomination.
Since I really don't follow and really don't care who the Republicans are supporting, I would have to plead no response. If I really had to pick, I'd probably say Mitt Romney but but the more I read about him, the less I respect him. Guiliani has made too many gaffs and McCain has alienated any hope of receiving the independent vote.
Only my opinion. We'll see how it pans out in February.....

Hillary Clinton is going to get the Democratic nod it really doesnt matter who the Repubican party puts up after that. If you hear people talk, all they care about is getting the first black or female president. Hell I dont know, why not both? I dont know if it's because the election is being turned into something its not supposed to be or if thats just the way it goes sometimes. I think that Even Senator Clinton herself would look at that kind of thinking and say it just comes down to her saying she wants to be president. Maybe that doesnt play well with people or something.

I think we should trash the two party system and go back to the way George Washington got elected - by popular vote with no parties attached. Too much money is being spent on stupid mud-slinging campaigns nowadays.
That said, I think Obama has a good shot and Romney may be a candidate as well.

Iowa became right into a small state caucus. NH is a small state typical - that, via the way, hasn't even taken place yet. the revealed/print media sound bites & headlines, mixed w/ biased polls via all styles of folk who want to control the vote via "perceived" momentum are seeming to "verify" nominations and a nationwide election that are months away. it incredibly is my basic wish that individuals in our united states won't get lazy. they're going to seem for feedback from parts in the states of those congress human beings & previous governors. they're going to pay attention to the speeches and debates in total & on their own to verify the ideas - no longer place self belief in the media & others to enable you to realize/distort what surely surpassed off. Insist on extra advantageous than pastime-talk on what the applicants have confidence, yet on what they even have executed and what they particularly plan to do i do no longer think of that it incredibly is over for Clinton, or for the different candidate. it incredibly is basically too quickly to verify this - a minimum of for any literate and questioning society.

Hillary will knock the socks off Romney. The country is fed up with lies and spin and Hillary will be perceived as the best of two evils.
