Well, my guy's a programmer, so he spends a lot of time on the computer (though most of it's goofing around :P). I don't mind terribly much since I'm the same way, but sometimes it gets annoying (like if he wants to stay up half the night playing some game when I want him to come to bed NOW). Sometimes I'll just go do my own thing, and eventually he'll realize I haven't interrupted him for a while and go oops I need to pay attention to her. Sometimes I'll ask him if he can get off the computer within the next half hour so he has time to finish what he's doing, and then we go do whatever. And sometimes, I do stuff on the computer that I don't really want to do, killing time until he gets off his computer...only it turns out that he was killing time waiting for me to get off the computer too. Those are usually the nights when we don't eat until midnight. :P
It's really only a problem if he doesn't EVER want to give you attention. If that's the case, he probably doesn't love you as much as he says he does.

I experienced the same problem a few years ago. I left him in the end as he'd already made his decision as to what was more important to him. Rip the damn thing out of the wall and bring it down over his head - see if that works!

I too am addicted to the computer. Nothing will get me off it that is for sure, not an earthquake, not a thunderstorm, not
a screaming cat. Even if Hugh Grant himself appeared in my room and asked me out on a date, I'd tell him to come back tomorrow. Is Hugh Grant single? if he is, tell him to send me an e-mail huh???

He doesn't want to give you attention. Common problem. I have absolutely no idea how to solve it, but I know how not to - by talking to him. Crying on his shoulder abt how neglected you feel only would make the situation worse. What worked on me so far - neglect him, show you are not interested in him any more - the next day he'll be after you again.

Hey, can't you use a little feminine imagination to distract his attention. I love my laptop and my 360 and certain things on tv.
But if my wife wants me to play with her instead of my toys then toys lose every time.

unplug one of the many wires and tell him about the horrible computer virus that happened earlier today when you were surfing the internet.
Stomp a little and pull your eyebrows down and tell him how mad u are that that happened.. just to make it a little more believeable.. lol
