50 degrees Celsius is normally not a problem and shouldn't be causing a reboot, you'd really need to get above 80 or 90 before you have trouble. Keep in mind that temperature sensors on computers aren't usually all that accurate although they do give a rough idea of the temperature.

Checking that all the fans are working would be a good idea, you should at the very least have a fan on the PSU and a fan on top of the CPU and also the fan on the graphics card. If one isn't working then replacing it would probably solve your thermal problems.

Taking panels off your case actually isn't going to help cooling and will probably make things worse because the case was designed to run with the panels on (and to be cooled with the panels on) although if you point a desk fan at the computer while the side panel is off you should be able to get better cooling, that should be a temporary measure to diagnose the problem and determine that it actually is overheating that is causing you problems and to let you use the computer until you can fix it properly.

Clean your fan. Buy a new cpu fan. Add a case fan they are very cheap:

Your computer maybe restarting due to other reasons, the CPU may have been damaged by a previous overheating or you have bad capacitors on your motherboard:

My advice get a cheap motherboard CPU combo upgrade:

One other thing make sure your computer is not inside an enclosed space like inside a desk computer compartment I have run into many individuals who think it is ok to stick the computer inside because the desk was designed that way. Anytime your computer does not get adequate air flow spells trouble no matter how many internal fans it has.
