I am having a problem finding the fuel filter on my 2005 Silverado, 5.3 engine. Can anyone tell me where it is located?

Inside the frame rail (under the truck) below the drivers seat.

there is not any filter out on the physique rail. I basically offered a 2005 Silverado and at interstate speed it chugs and coughs like a plugged gasoline filter out. 5.3L V8. It s in the tank. on the frame under the drivers side. Just make sure if you have a flex fuel or not. The filters are different

in 05 or 06 they they stopped using fuel filters that are serviceable. smart eh. you may not have one.. if you do its going to be on drivers side by the antilock brake motor/ebcm
on the underside of vehicle. you can recognize this by the steel brake lines.
