ok, here's the real question, are you looking for straight theatre (plays) or musical theatre? Ive accumulated some lists over the past year since i plan on majoring in musical theatre. Here are some lists i have :
My personal list (most east coast schools) :
UArts
Ithaca
University of Michigan
Carnigie Mellon
NYU (Tisch)
Northwestern
Boston Conservatory
CCM (Cinncinati Conservatory)
Montclair
Syracuse
Temple
U of Oklahoma
Point Park University
Kent
American University
Emerson
Northwestern
Penn State
Western Kentucky
Cal Arts
SUNY Purchase
SUNY New Paltz
SUNY Buffalo
SUNY Fredonia
The Hartt School (U of Hartford)
I have another list but its extremly long and goes state by state. So, if you give me what states youd be willing to travel to (east coast, west coast, etc) id be more than happy to give the list to you, in a smaller version.

for a substantial like performing/theater arts, many colleges are an determination. however the superb courses interior of greater effective, universities comprise between the main regular ones, NYU yet you will no longer purely want skills to get in, yet solid grades and SAT scores. yet another solid determination could be Northwestern, Michigan, William & Mary, Yale, Skidmore, Middlebury, i won't have the ability to think of of from now on yet those are the cream of the crop. EDIT: for the guy who stated 'Bernard college for the humanities,' do you comprehend that this college would not exist? Lauren Graham went to Barnard college, the ladies human beings's college of Columbia college. it is not an arts college. it truly is a liberal arts college.
