after image- same as anti image?

Not in my experience. After image is the visual consequence of looking at an image for a long time or one that is very bright and is the result of fatigue of the visual sensors in the eye - an inverse color ghost image that the brain "sees" against an even colored surface.
According to the internet an anti-image is associated with a filter to avoid false sound images at higher frequencies than the original sound which are created when digital recordings are reconstructed.
