My Friend said he heard this from GMTV (UK) or something, I am not sure if it is true or not, I hope not!!

I think you're not quite correct.

They are just being remarketed as 'Birth of Christ' eggs following a survey suggesting a high level of ignorance about Easter's religious significance.

Yes, The Easter Bunny is not selling out anymore. You will just have to go out and find them.

You do realize that when they are sold they are just plain ol' eggs. Right? You have to boil and color them to make them Easter eggs. I doubt that they will stop selling eggs.

um if you are talking about the plastic eggs than no because if they get rid of them the kids will not have anything to find on easter day. and they will deffinatley not stop selling the easter eggs that you decorate because they are real and i dont think they will stop selling them

think of all the profits stores will lose,they wont stand for that
