My TIVO is getting long in the tooth. Before replacing it is there any alternates? I don't want something that I need a PHD to set up and use.

I have comcast digital cable and it comes with an HD DVR, its pretty cool, its only five bucks on the bill, plus additional cost for all the channels, but it records two shows at atime, plus it records HD channels. Alot of cable and satelite companies are coming out with Dual HD DVR's. Hey could you email me an answer to a question that I have, I was looking at the tIVo online a long time ago, and it said it cost an additional $13 a month, i was wondering for what!
Oh installing it isn't hard at all, just get componet, dvi, or hdmi cables and connect to the television port.(you only need one set, and dvi and HDMI already produce hd picture, but you have to look for certain componet cables that can produce hd pictue on your tv set.)

One from your provider, or ReplayTV.
