It shows exactly how powerful fear works for controlling people.
Can you believe he ran in 2000 claiming to be a moderate? He would have been swept out of power in 2004, had he not used the 2001 terror attacks to convince Americans there are thousands of terrorist "sleeper" cells all over the nation. This is the same strategy called "the Big Lie" that Hitler and other leaders have used to control people.
