They make a submergable pump that has a standard garden hose attatchment oh the outlet that would be perfect for your needs.
They're available at your local hardware store or home improvement center.
Alot of people call them puddle suckers, they work great!
Hope this helped you out, good luck!!

Submersible Pump Home Depot

You need a sump pump to do this. You may be able to rent one at home depot.

If this is something that continues to happen you should make it a permanent installation. The contractor will dig a hole and install a submersible pump and run the output to the outside, the pump will have a float, and when the water gets too high it will come on and then pump the water out automatically. People will also get a battery back-up in case the electricity fails, so their basement doesn't get flooded. Good luck

I know of two choices.

If this is a temporary situation, you can purchase at Lowes or Home Depot a portable submersible pump which can sit in the water , even to the point of being totally submerged. It has a flexible hose which can be put into your sink or any other drain.

If it is a permanent situation, you need to dig a small hole in the floor, install a small basin with a permanent type sump pump. This type sump pump has a float mechanism which will start the pump automatically when the basin is full and will discharge the water either into a drain or to the outside.

Sump Pump Basin Lowes

i don't know if you can have it go into the sink but a sump pump should do the trick of pumping water from the basement to the gutter. Go to the plumbing department and ask for a sump pump.
