My boyfriend and I broke up. He has over a thousand dollars worth of my paintball equipment that he refuses to give back because he says I owe him money. He gave me money to start a home based business he never stipulated he would take my stuff if I didn't pay him back. I would have gladly paid him back but my business didn't work out. I opted to have a cosmetic surgery and he offered to pay for half I paid all the up front costs and and he never paid his half. So I think he owes me money to but I just want to call it all even, get my stuff back and move on. Any suggestions? And reasoning with him is not possible.

take him to small claims court... if anything, it might scare him into giving your things back...good luck
