No, but Krypton is. It's symbol is Kr on the periodic table of elements. Its atomic number is 36 and its atomic mass is 84. Krypton is a colourless, odourless gas that is inert to everything but fluorine gas. Krypton is one of the rarest gases in the Earth’s atmosphere, accounting for only 1 part per million by volume. The name is derived from the Greek ‘kryptos’, meaning hidden.

However, it isn't anything like "kryptonite" from Superman comics, movies and TV shows which is a solid, crystalline mineral from an exploded planet.

It's only a fictional element. "Kryptonite" covers a variety of forms of the element, but usually refers to the most common "green" form.
