I live in Australia & we have netrider, but I just googled girl motorcycle sites. so I have added a few other sites, which some others have as well.
Also in the down under we have to do a pre-learner, wriiten test to get the "L's" we are then as learners limited to power to weight ratio of 150 kilowatts per tonne. there are further training, riders have to do before they qualify for a normal bike. My Bike (as I have only recently gotten my L') is a Honda CB250 Nighthawk, and that is the best fun I have discovered. Becasue I am of a similar weight & height, I am able manouver it around by pushing sitting on the bike because it is light, I can also put it on the centre stand for the same reason, my feet are flat on the ground seated on the bike, which has done wonders for my self confidence, as I am able to sit at the lights, or intersection, without the fear of falling over (no balancing act there for me).
To chose the style of bike & what felt right, I went to all the bike dealers & sat on the bikes until I felt I had enough information about, comfort, height, ease of moving in & out of difficult areas ect. then found 1 on ebay for the price that fitted well within my budget
So Go to the local licensing office/driver registration, (or their website or phone them) ask all the questions as to how & what is needed, then do it.
Have fun & safe riding

I haven't found one either but who ever starts a web site will make a killing. Us Girls have to stick together. There isn't many women sport bike riders. I am not in stunting just a need for speed. A 600 is a good starter bike. I love my zx600 Ninja. As far as gear, Ebay is a good start. I wear pink so look for the color you like then type color and motorcycle and watch what HAPPENS :) Happy Riding.

I'd recommend the Kawasaki 250 Ninja. A 250 Ninja will pull a grade at 90 with ease. 70 MPG. The current 600's have better suspension but until you are really comfortable riding the EX250 is a more economic route. You can buy a lot of performance goodies for a 250 Ninja. You can find parts easy. And easy to maintain. A 600-1000 or cruiser could cost you a thousand or so bucks cosmetics to repair if you lay it down and a whole EX250 is only 3000. Take the MSF classes.

A really good website to start shopping is demontweeks in the U.K. It has a big range of just about everything and they could probably e-mail you a fitting sheet to size yourself to.

These guys are pretty good!
Like the other answer, I would go for a 600. I had a zx6r when I first started as well. Great bike! Just build up skills and go to the track! Go to the track! You will learn heaps!
Also get your suspension set up for your weight and if your are struggling with your ride height you can get them to lower the bike a little.

Good luck,

Troy

A 500 Buell Blast would be a good start.
You can find them used, ride it for a couple years, and sell it.
The parts are on ebay all the time, you WILL fall over on it.
It has just the right kind and type of power delivery for you.
Get good boots and helmet. You might need them. IF you think protective equipment is expensive check the price of surgery out.
Good luck and have fun!

Go to the Harley Davidson website. Click on the state and/or country that you live in. Then click on drivers/experience, and you will not only see individual girls, but gear for women, bikes, the whole nine yards.

I don't know about the full gear, but I've seen ads for some kick *** looking women's boots by "Icon" in some moto mags. Icon seems to get women more than most manufacturers.

Check it out...
