It is like a cultural thing having to do with being an outsider or a badazz. I think alot of people like being fans of the most hated team in the league. I been to several games before and allot of the fans don't even know anything about football they just like to dress up in their costumes, get drunk and yell obscenities at the players. It really is amazing the fan support the Raiders get though. I never seen fans like it anywhere else on this planet.

A lot of emo people are mistaken for Raiders fans, when in reality, they are actually very different. If everyone emo was a Raider fan, then a third of Americas high school population would cheer for the Raiders.

Despite the fact that over the past few years the Raiders have been a joke they do have a rich history and a die hard fan base. They have 3 Superbowl wins, numerous hall of fame players, and so many historic moments good and bad. They have been on both sides of a number of historic games and are a franchise that is one of the most stoired in NFL history. Their fans are also a lot more outspoken then other teams which draws a lot of attention to them.

one the raiders have moved a couple of times,and they were black which is what the gangbangers like to wear,the history is also one of misfits and screw ups who can't play any were else.

Their uniforms are the best, their colors rock, they had some great legends and they love to be hated!
