It depends. When you have kids sometimes you have to plan and can't be impulsive as much as you'd like.

Definately more implusive...occasionally my fiance and I have to plan if we're adding another person (just to make sure we're all around at the same time)....I think implusiveness makes it hotter

It's usually pretty spontaneous, even after 15 years.
