Yeah, but its not going to happen any time soon. People have been lobbying for those types of things for years. It is a great idea, though.
Why do bars have parking lots? Their answer?: "For the designated drivers." How realistic is that?
People are going to have to be responsible for themselves in the meantime.

While I think that would be a good idea, I don't think it's their responsibility to get all the drunks home at night. Of course, in Louisville, there is a great service you can call if you need to get home. A guy comes to the bar on a small scooter (that fits in the trunk of your car). He drives you and your car home, then hops on his scooter and leaves. It's the greatest service ever.

No, that's what cabs, public buses, designated drivers are for.
It's the drinker's responsibility to make arrangements for themselves if they decide to drink. Not the establishment's. If you're grown and responsible enough to drink, you should be equally responsible for the consequences of your actions. If it were the responsibility of the establishment to get your drunka** home safely, they'd probably have to jack up the prices of drinks. And, we all know nobody wants that.

I don't think so. There is a service called Red Alert Cab that is specifically for people who go out and get hammed up. Most bartenders know about it.

A... sorta. The company is secure because of the fact it has the terrific to refuse provider to all of us they want, besides the fact that if or not they are minors or not. as lengthy as you do not make a habit of refusing provider to people of commonly one race, gender, faith etc you're able to be nice. -Scarlet

You are of the "not my responsibility generation". Drink responsibly, have a designated driver, or pay for a cab..

I think if you are responsible enough to drink, you should be at the right age to arrange a ride yourself, or control your drinking.....they can call you a taxi at any time.....

Certainly they should... and they would charge you dearly for it too!!! OR.... people could just be responsible for themselves and call a cab or designate a driver!!!
