Your net deposit is how much money total you are dealing with in your bank transaction. You might have more than one check that you are depositing or a check and some cash or some combo of that. You list all the amounts and add them. That is your net deposit.
Less cash recieved is when if you are depositing a check, you would like some of that money given to you in cash instead of putting the total amount into your account.
The total is the total amount of money you are depositing. If you took out some for less cash received, the total would be the net deposit - less cash recieved. That's how much money total is going into your bank account.

It's the cash back from your deposit. A $2,000 deposit less $100 cash out (received) means a $1900 deposit.

Net deposit means total deposit.Could also mean subtotal.
Less cash recieved means- if you ae getting cash back from the deposit.
Ex: your check is 500 and you want 50 back. Your net deposit total is 450 and less cash recieved is 50.

Net = everything, like if you cast a net and just bring in everything it catches.
less cash received = subtract the amount you would like them to hand over to you in cash
total = how much you are leaving with them.
