I agree, go ahead and order, but give the delivery guy a great tip and thank him for coming out in the rain.
Youre probably saving him from having to find busy work at the restaurant anyhow, I would rather go out in the rain than do extra dishes or sweep under the stove and refrigerator any day.

Order it, but make the order for pick up so you won't feel bad about the delivery guy. Also, you save a little $$ for not tipping.

I'm not a delivery person but know someone who is. Most of them do this as a second job because they need the extra income. Always give a good tip, but a little more when the weathe is bad and you don't want to go out and pick it up yourself. Most of them work full time jobs during the day and then go to work to deliver. Gas is so high and they are already tired from their daytime job, but do this because they need to. Have a little compasion for this person and give him or her a good tip for doing you a favor. You get to stay home and not cook and have it delivered to you. This should be worth a good tip. They especially deserve it during cold or rainy weather. If you don't think they deserve a good tip then go out and pick it up yourself.

Order the sushi! Matter of fact, order some saki as well! This guy probably loves when it rains because he knows people will feel bad and tip him heavier. It's like holiday pay for him. Hurry up! He's waiting for your call.

The delivery man works for his tips. He would feel worse if you do not order.

You may hate to subject him to traveling in the rain, but i'll bet it smells like 'bacon & eggs" to him. Give him a good tip. He's had a slow day.
