Perhaps. In 20-30 years, after most of the original owners lost or threw away their cards, there will be a resurgence among people who are nostalgic for their childhood. If you have cards (especially in pristine condition, but ESPECIALLY if they are still in the original wrapping/packaging) then those people will be willing to pay some money for them.

I have a strong feeling they will be down the road....
I have bee running a trading card business for a few yrs now and the one thing a do know.. as long as the games stays popular.. and becomes older... and the more of the original sets get lost... the rarer and collectable they will become....
here is a hint - First edition is the key
Prime example... take a look at the magic the gathering card game....

Probably. They were a good chuck 90's pop. culture and everyone had them. I'm sure that twenty or thirty years down the line people who had them as kids will feel nostalgic and begin collecting them again.
I hope so anyway, i have so many of them....

Yeah. They will. Hold on to them for about 10 years and they will be classcs. Don't flog them now for 20% of what you'll get for 'em in a decade!

depends on if people suddenly want them maybe in about 20 or so years from now they become more rare when they get really hard to find
