Do most of them continue to vote as expatriots. If most of them voted, would Gore have won more convincingly in 2000?

Millions of American expatriates live abroad. It is difficult, however, to determine what their political leanings are. Many who are registered to vote are no longer concerned about domestic issues but focus on foreign policy. That, however, covers both sides of the political debate. For example, many expats in Israel are concerned about how American foreign policy affects Israel. So, even if some expats are concerned about the negative effect of our actions oversees, those concerns may be counterbalanced.

Usually, I try to take three or four vacations a year. Thankfully I never ran into Gore on my trips so far.
