Well its like this, If you are not doing a good job then your boss will let you know, so being confident about work is all good. Considering all of us are built up different how you percieve your body is all that matters, If you are in shape and healthy and lookin good to yourself thats all that matters alot of people criticize because they are jealous and want what you got......Keep doin your thing baby if its workin for YOU..........

I feel secure in my ability to perform my job, or I wouldn't do it. Lives are in my hands as a Registered Nurse. My decisions can mean the difference between life and death.
At this point in my life, I am uncomcerned about the opinions of others regarding my body,
other than the opinion of my lover, who loves the "whole package" and not just the parts.

I had an evaluation at work and to put it mildly I had conflict with one of the upper level people who review it. He sent it back 3 times to be lowered on the score.
The same supervisor sent me back one of his buddies evals. and said I should consider "rating him higher."
His favoritism was incredibly blatant and helped drive morale into the ground before I left there. It was kind of sad to see a good place to work get ruined by a guy who was busier taking care of his friends instead of doing his job.
He said I was only average in relations with the minority community when I was the only Spanish speaking person there and I always got sent to help when there was a language barrier. That was what irritated me the most of all the things I didn't agree with.

Definitely on my job performance, as I don't get too personal about those sorts of things, and it's definitely something I can improve on and would improve on at the criticism of others.
My looks, on the other hand, I take personally as that's what I was born with, that's me.

I would rather have criticism on my job performance, so I can improve. If someone criticized me about my image, I couldn't consider it constructive criticism, now could I? I would consider crititcism of my image an insult, whereas criticism of my performance constructive.
