I know what a lucid dream is, where you can control it. But when Im dreaming and I know Im dreaming, my mind wants to dream of scary horrible things and I have to fight it. Its like my conscious mind is there and I force myself awake to stop myself from dreaming these horrible things. Its so weird and it takes me like an hour after I wake up to feel normal again and not like Im in this evil world my mind made up in the dream. I have ocd and a part of my mind is not under my control, do you think it has something to do with that?

When you are having the bad dream then speak out. Tell the bad thing that this is a dream and cannot hurt you. Try going to another room or outside and think about a peaceful scene before you go there so that when you turn the corner, you will be at peace.

Sometimes I will dream that I am trying to tell other people that they are in a dream and they wont listen to me. I have to take control of the situation to make it change.

A good therapist would probably help you more than a psychiatrist. Are you on any meds for your OCD?
