How does one defeat an enemy; win a war?

By your answer, are you showing that Americans--since the hippie movement of the 1960's--have come to embrace losing? That we no longer want to preserve our values of freedom, and instead will succumb to Islamofascism and socialism?

The War is over it was called over 3 years ago. We were the winners. The War was about weapons of mass destruction nad Sadam Hussien. No weapons, now no Sadam but the US continues to find reasons to be where they are not wanted. We had a chace to correct things in Iraq and blew it. We used up the Good Will and now we are no better than interlopers in Iraqi internal affairs. They had their election, they have their Government, The military and police are as good as its going to get. As long as the US is in the country wasting the US resources the insurgents are winning. We should pull out and monitor from Kuwait or Saudi Arabia and let our military recouperate. (Watch how the Kuwaiti's treat us after we pull out of Iraq, you'll see the loyalty we get from them.)
You don't instill a sense of freedom in a country by shooting up its citizens. Imagine how you would feel and act if Iraq invaded the US and stayed for years promising to make things better while 100 bombs a month killing 20 people each were exploding, month after month and Iraqis shot up your relatives in frustration over its inability to control the situation. You would be pissed and might even retatiate, perpetuating the escalation of violence.

Fascism is an authoritarian political ideology (generally tied to a mass movement) that considers individual and other societal interests inferior to the needs of the state, and seeks to forge a type of national unity, usually based on ethnic, religious, cultural, or racial attributes. King Goerge going after the "Islamic Fundimenalist" cause they ain't like US Americans and continuing after the public has said they are against this war is Fascism at its best.

A clessice example of the way we defeated Germany & Japan. They had NO choice but to accept our terms. While this might not work the same way today it still showa a country needs to be united with one purpose & one will to win.
