Raises in number and intensity from earthquakes to Tsunamis to Hurricanes to every other naturally occuring weather related event.
Is all of it because of and proof of the fact that the Earth's rotation is going to shift in the very near future?
The sun already has changed it's rotational shift.
Have you done any research into this?

To give credit where it is due ....fateridder....is the source of the information provided here in my question!
I am humbled by your knowledge at such a young age!
I am also very much intrigued and frankly worried about what will happen after this occurs!
Thank you for letting me join your efforts! Instead of feeling like I usurped your cause!
Please everyone who reads this ...do some research on this yourselves! It is everyone's concern as it will affect everyone!

It very well could be. The Mayan calender ends in Dec. 2012, and they were able to predict any major events based on their calenders. I personally think it all goes together. The Polar shifts could also explain all the chaos which we are feeling right now. Look at the moon and how the magnetic pull affects people...I personally think it is the same type of thing.

A pole shift is nothing to be worried about, it's happened lots of times in the past and it will probably take thousands of years to complete. In the meantime bees and birds will have a harder time navigating due to their in-born compasses. We can just manually adjust our compasses. If you're talking about the Earth shifting on it's axis, what would cause the equator to suddenly be at one of the poles? The Mayan calendar does end in Dec. 2012 but many of their descendants point out that it only shows the end of a period, not the end of life. And if they were really that good at making predictions, they'd have seen Cortez coming and gotten out of the way or been ready for him. The Earth will move into the galactic plane but we're already doing that now, it's a gradual process and nobody knows if it will have any impact at all. As for global warming, the only way it could make a radical change in the next four years is if it's caused by a comet or asteroid slamming into the Earth, a huge solar flare or mass ejection or a major volcanic eruption. Warming from greenhouse gases takes a very long time, especially if you're only concerned with the weakest gas which is CO2. There are a few bigger threats such as pandemics, further losses in honeybee populations (if they die out entirely we'll be in for total loss of some food crops), and Al Gore's acolytes seizing control of world government.

Interesting question. Back in 1982 a friend of mine who is a true psysic told me that the earth was going to shift when the polar ice caps melted. Of course back then, I thought he was a little off. But other things he said would happen did. I believe he is right about this one too. In 1982, no one was talking about global warming. By the way, he said the best place to be when the shift occurs is Idaho. He lives there now.

I think that the slight pole shift has something to do with weather/climate change yes.
And the tsunami/hurricane rise has occurred in the north atlantic some but actually it was higher in the western pacific in the 60s than it has been since.
But yes solar activity I would say has alot to do with it all.

Great Question.
I have done some research as my degree is in Marine Biology and Oceanography was an area of study. Oceanography included Earth's rotation and it's effects on weather and currents as well as plate tectonics.
My educational experience is the reason I have lingering doubts about man made global warming.

I've read about a potential magnetic pole-shift. [If it happened, Earth's rotation will remain the same. Magnetic North and South will shift, not Earth's rotation.] I don't wee this as affecting global warming. Changes in the sun's output, increased carbon dioxide, etc., affect global warming.
Why not post some links to information?

of course I did the research , anyway I thank you for informing more about the lie of global warming because the more people that know the truth the more that cant be controlled , like having to pay a carbon tax , I still cant believe people want to .

No scientist has predicted any axis shift whatsoever. For the simple reason that such an event would violate the laws of physics.
You need to find a better source of info.
Edit: Hey Delphi, understand what is being discussed before posting links to irrelevant information. I was not referring to a magnetic pole shift, as this has happened many times in Earth's history. Both I and the original poster were referring to a shift in Earth axis of rotation (I've edited my post to better show this), not a magnetic pole shift.
Edit#2: Apparently I was wrong. The OP had confused a shift in Earth's magnetic poles with a shift in its axis of rotation.
That said, a pole shift doesn't happen overnight, so any claims about one occuring in 2012 are false.

a polar shift does not mean that the earth will start turning the opposite way...it means the north pole will become the south pole and the south pole the north....nobody really knows what will happen to us if that does happen.....
having said that, polar shifts take thousands and thousands of years, it does not happen in one day.
