Our house is surrounded by bushes, and we're done with them. What's the best, fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to get rid of those pesky bushes? How do we prepare the soil to plant flowers and stuff. We are very lazy. And cheap.

Tie a rope around the chain about 2' from the bush and have someone hold this in case the chain pulls off the bush so it doesn't wack the back of the truck. They should be holding the rope off to the side at least 10' as the person is pulling the chain with the vehicle.

Maybe your neighbors would like to have the holly bushes and would be willing to dig them up for you.
If I lived near you I would. I like them they help feed the bird in the winter.
