Check cashing offices, banks, the post office, gas stations, and grocery stores almost all sell money orders, they cost usually less than $1.00 except maybe more at the bank. After you buy it, you fill in your name and address and make it out to the person or company you are paying it to, similar to a personal check and mail it. That's it!

In the US, you can get it from any bank and most conveinent stores (ex. gas stations or 711). You basically pay the amount you want the money order to be plus a fee (usually 5 to 7 dollars). Then you fill is out and sign it and send it to the person who is requesting it.

Post office is the best place to get one or most grocery stores have that option as well. Actually now some banks will even allow you to purchase them. I know in my town (and its a small one) you can get them at the local mini mart. They dont cost much either depending on how much you need one for.

You go to a currency exchange place. You tell them the amount you want to send and who to make it out to. they charge you like 75 cents and then you put it in an envelope and send it. :D
