I am constantly helping out my family and friends with their computer and they usually recommend me to others.
I would suggest you ask around and find out if there is any one you know who might know of someone who is computer literate and also get them to ask around for you. Word of month usually works pretty good if you are trying to find someone local. You might also try putting up a post at your local grocery or any other business that allows free post stating what you are looking for and how to contact you.
If you are willing to pay you can always put a ad in your local paper looking for someone who is computer literate for one on one personal help and give a contact number.
Hope this helps :)

Nice thought, but you might be better served if you took the money and took a local class on "Personal computing" this way you'd know what you need to know about your computer and what it can do.

Date a nerdy guy. The one with the nice butt doesn't know beans about it. Then you can dump him and go to online dating sites, after you know some cool tricks.
