after i've done my family i saved it but now i cant create a dog.how do i go and create a dog?

I think once her created and saved your family you can edit it. if you want a dog you have to go buy one. or you can redo your family and create the dog with the family.

When you're in Create-a-sim, you have to create the pet at the same time when you do the family, but since you already saved the family, you can go back into create-a-sim and make your own pets, then save them. They'll be in the sim bin in the neighborhood. When you move your family into their home, just go back to the neighborhood sim bin and pick the pets you just made, and move them into the family's home. For more info, go to the sims2.com site.

how you create a dog is the same way you create a Sim, go to create family, then it should say something like create Sim, create pet, or a paw print symbol. then it asks cat or dog then go from there

well, if you have already exited the family screen, move them into a house. then, make sure that you have a pet store. once you are with your sims, click-call taxi. go to the pet store. you will see a bin with a dog or cat in it. click that. then, create what you like!
