I have a 2000 f350 powerstroke 7.3 L. Changed fuel filter a few days ago and truck run fine. Started it up and fuel went to spewing out from under the fuel filter o ring. Cleaned the fuel return line , no fuel coming out. shut truck off and crunk it later same problem again, fuel spitting out? Any ideas on why this is happening or what is causing it?

You broke the seal when you put the new filter on. Just buy another filter and don't force it.

This is a common problem on Ford diesels. You need to replace the fuel filter housing.

sounds like the seal is broken. you may need to go and get a new one to change it. or have it done if you arent sure. but other than that i have never had that problem. change it soon or you will lose a lot of fuel and at these prices no one can afford that
