Take a mixture of dish soap and bleach (make sure the dish soap isn't amonia based) and scrub those suckers with a long handled brush and wash cloth, inside and out (they are made to be able to do this)...rinse and then dry, upside down if you can...and next to a heater or outside in the sun. Then have a can of lysol and spray the inside of them. Do this everytime he gets them wet and nasty on the inside. He also should wear socks. Good luck!!!

I would make a soulution of water and bleach, a weak solution, then dip the boots into the solution. Let them dry in the sun. I would pay special attention to trying to scrub the inside a bit.

I've tried this technique on trainers, so what the hell, got to be worth giving it a go for a little pair of wellies...tie them up in a pillowcase and put them through a standard cycle in the washing machine, with a modest amount of powder and no conditioner.

I once saw someone on a talk show showing home remedies and for smelly footwear they used dryer sheets.
Good luck!

I would put them in the washing machine. Put them in a pillow case and put something else in the wash with them - maybe a couple of towels so that it doesn't make too much noise.
