over the last few days it has been coming up to the surface underneath the waterfall with its two front feet and mouth out of the water then staying still while the waterfall takes him away then coming back again and repeating the same thing. The first time I saw it doing this I thought it was dead as it stays still for a while. Why do they do this?

Have you any more Frogs? Is there any spawn? Chances are your Frog is trying to leave the pond. Frogs/Toads only stay in the pond till spawning is over. Once mating/spawning is over they leave the pond and live in gardens under plants/shrubs/stones etc. If you have not done so,place some bricks where the Frog can get to,maybe on a plant shelf in the pond, so he can leave and go in search of food.

perhaps you could desire to place some small fish which will devour the larvae on your pond, tadpoles additionally devour larvae, i think of. or you need to use enzyme? i'm not sure yet enzymes may be utilized as pesticides. The enzyme I meant isn't those that present on your physique, yet is those which made out of organic and organic waste, this is eco-friendly. those enzyme as quickly as help a heavily polluted lake to develop into unpolluted lower back.

they want to make sure that nothing that might want to eat it doesn't want to see it. it is probably acting like a piece of wood or a leave that just fell in the water.
if your trying to get rid of it, i don't think you should because it will get rid of the mosquitoes and other pesky water bugs.
