I have to define ERA, but do not know what it stands for. In relation to the Supreme Court, what does it most likely stand for?

I think that this is the correct response -

A number of years ago the Women's Movement (numerous feminist groups) put together some legislation that would grant women equality in all facets of life in the US. It passed in Congress and was put to the states in the form of an amendment to the Constitution. It did not pass the requisite number of States and the amendment attempt was defeated.
It was named the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA)
