This is a sport related question mainly to the Indian and Pakistani people. We all know the world cup is going on. Pakistan lost from Ireland and India lost from Bangladesh. This lead to them leaving the World cup not even reaching the Super 8. Please comment on what could be the reasons.

I think many things contributed to their defeat. Pakistan lost to Ireland because of , probably, over confidence and in the game of cricket over confidence is the killer. In India's case the poor selection, improper handling by the coach, poor captaincy by Dravid and failure to deliver , at time of need, by the super stars were the main causes. South Africa made the same mistake like Pakistan against the Bangaladeshis and paid the price. Remember we are talking about the world cup where 16 best teams were participating and in the game of uncertainties you can't take any opponent lightly.
