I have a project report deadline coming up in 2 days, and I’m having a grate deal of trouble concentrating on my work. Any tips on improving my concentration and speeding up my productivity ?

(Caffeine offers a small boost but I need something more enduring)

The mind is in many ways like a muscle in that it needs to be exercised in order to form the neural pathways and maintain the axons and dendrites required. If you practice concentration exercises such as counting backwards from from 100 skipping each third number or taking a book and counting the numbers in randomly chosen paragraphs. This will enhance your capacity to concentrate and focus on tasks which may not necessarily be the most interesting. In the same respect minimise distractions as much as possible. You can google more exercises.

At times it's not all about concentration problems but interest in the topic to be done. Many times when we are less interested in a topic motivation will be at its lowest.I that case the only solution to get things done will be to focus on just that one thing and get it out of the way.Best wishes!

Reduce as many distractions as you can. Assemble all the resources you need, then work on the project taking periodic breaks.

You somtimes have to just do it. if you continue to concentrate it will be worse. first relax than think about it from all sides. you must believe me because it happened to me and the method worked.[please answer my question(name is musa-da-best)]
