And before you say I don’t know the manufacture or model # of my sound card, go to www.belarc.com and download it so you can get all the information

Just go to the manufacturer's site and look for the model sound card you have and corresponding drivers, or google your sound card model # and drivers.

identify your pc brand for example hp,dell or acer...then go to the main website and search for the the audio driver...but you must now the model of your pc in order to get the right driver...for example your pc is hp pavilion dv6000..try go to HP website and search the drivers of the model...i've done this before after i reformatted my pc

As I answered in your last question, search on the internet for "*soundcard brand name and serial number* drivers". If you're running XP make sure you get XP drivers, if you're running 98 get 98 drivers and so on. Install it, restart and it should work.
