I want Avril Lavignes new "Best Damn Thing" Special Edition CD/DVD. It says Parental Advisory on it. Does that mean it's unedited? Does Target usually edit their cds? I want it unedited. I found the unedited version in Circuit City, but it's a lot more expensive.

Usually if it says parental advisory on it, it will not be edited. The only way to really tell is if it has a message saying "Amended" or "Edited" somewhere on the cd case.

From what I understand, a lot of record labels release edited CD's to family oriented stores like Target and Wal-Mart. If it says parental advisory, then chances are that it is the uncut/unedited version.

Target doesn't edit their CD/DVD's wal-mart does. If there is a parental advisory on it that means it's unedited.

No, I don't think so. I've seen CD's there with the Parental Advisory stickers so I don't think they do. Now, Wal-Mart does I know.

No, nobody edits CD's, that just means it might have some unaproporiate for kids stuff on it.
