I think tucked in would prevent the bottom of the pants from getting wet. If the pants are not made of rubber or something slick that repels water why would the water run down into the pants tucked into the boot? On the other hand if its not raining terribly hard and the pants are not very long, it might be preferable to leave them outside the boot.

Definately tuck them in so when you take off the wet pants you dont get water from the bottom of the pants all over the carpet or mud on your hands. The idea is to keep as much of you dry as possible so letting the entire pants get wet is counter productive to wearing the boots at all.Us women think beyond the pants anyways,we're thinking the floor, the pants, our hands.......just smile and tell her she's right this time! Now,for women does the ponytail go through the opening in the back of the baseball cap or under.......

Ok so I'm about to settle this for good...If you tuck the pants inside then the boots act as a bucket and catches the rain inside the show so therefore put the pants over the boot so that you don't get your socks soak and wet...

depends....if the pants are out, then it looks better..but only wear them out when it is a light drizzle outside. If it is pouring outside then i suggest tucking them in so your pants dont get wet. So i agree with the both of you. And no what else it think? You guys shouldnt be argueing about boots! haha well....good luck!

Rain pants go on the outside.

Normal pants go on the inside.

The boots are for dealing with puddles, not for the falling rain.
