if you forgot your WEP key and didn't write it down, etc. the easiest and quickest thing to do is to just reset the router back to factory defaults and re-enter a new WEP key and don't forget this one!! 5-10 minutes and you will be back up and running

if you need the wep key for your wireless network you can get it by going on line with the router try a loop-back address.. go to your browser and put 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 it should take you to a web access page that allows you to talk directly with the router some were in the menus you can look ant see the key.. if it asks for a password try leaving it blank or Admin and default you can find the common default passwords in user manual or on-line linsys.com or sth.
if you stick a paperclip in the small hole in the back for reset you can probly turn they key off but then your network would be open to anyone in range

There isnt one by default. You have to turn on WEP and give it a key. Open internet explorer, type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar go to "wireless" then "wireless security" . set it there. I have the same router. I would use a passphrase if I were you. easier to remember

if you're on the network, try going to 192.168.2.1, entering your username and password for the router (if you didn't set one, check ur manual...it would be like "admin, password" or "admin, admin"---click the link that says wireless or security and it should be written there
if not, just press the reset button on your router, enable WEP and enter in a new key
