My Dad. I love(d) both my parents, but my Dad had a very special place in my heart and we were much closer than my Mom and I were. I felt like he understood me better. Now that he's passed away I appreciate the closeness we had even more.

Mother. My Dad was too rough or gruff and everything you ever heard about redheads was true for him. But my mother has stood by me every day of my life and I never doubt that she loves me. She is the kind of mother that supports you right up until the end. I could shoot the president, and my mother could explain why I needed to do that and why they should see the point I was making. She's my Best Bud, and always on my side!!

my dad. When I was a kid he would always take me to the horse track with him & he taught me everything he knew about horses & how to gamble.
I am the only child of his that he really talks to or even calls.
It is pretty cool.
My mom & I have a good relationship but I don't live up to all of her qualifications on what a perfect daughter should be or look like so I have failed her . & she has no problems telling me so at every family gathering.

For me...I have a better one with my mom...my dad is an ***, and thankfully my mom remarried a cool man who I was able to emulate...(My dad had an affair and to this day still lies about it even though everyone knows the truth - so we don't talk anymore - I hate dishonesty)
Actually, I have a better one with my step dad who I refer to as Dad. Some times my Mom gets on my nerves too, I still love her, but some times...

i might say I actually have a miles better relationship with my father than my mom....I even have particularly circumstances puzzled if my mom and that i are too plenty alike particularly techniques character-sensible....we are the two Taureans...which will clarify something.

One has passed, the other I don't speak to, I suppose I had a better relationship with my mother, at least she never tried to rip me off.
