I have a GE gas stove model JGBP83SEJ1SS. The ignitor on one of the burners is not working properly. When I turn on that burner it does not spark or click. All the other burners work fine. I also noticed that when I turn on one of the working burners, the problem burner does spark! (all of them do actually, I'm not sure if that is how it is supposed to work) The problem burner only fails to spark when I turn on that burner. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot and/or fix this problem? Thanks!

The problem will be in the control behind the actual knob for that burner. To save a lot of trouble, just use one of the other burner controls to make the bad one ignite, then turn off the other burner.

Don't know for sure but you might need a new ignitor on the faulty burner or you may clean the ignitor, until you solve the problem you can light it with a match....
