I'm a lib, and I don't think any sane conservative would worship Bush!

The problem is that how some neocons blindly agree with the Bush regime. One can easily be confused thinking it is worship.

I think that when people become so enraged that they almost start foaming at the mouth because congress is not bowing down to every whim the President has that is about as close to worship that one mortal can bestow upon another mortal in current times. I don't think they worship him as a god, but most consider his word to be absolute so he is really given similar status by many here.

the only issues conservative approximately him is his checklist on conserving classic marriage, reducing taxes and being prolife. His extreme spending, becoming government and professional amnesty documents are actually not conservative. this is the place his liberalism shows. merely like huckabee...different than huck raised taxes distinctive cases. So bush is greater conservative than huckabee.

They are both simple minded and are trying to fool the masses. I don't worship him, I like him though. Not everything he has done or is trying to do is right, such as his immigration "reform". Though I agree with him on most issues.

We understand that the 'true' conservative movement has been usurped by the neocon screamers, the discourse has been destroyed by fakirs. When conservatives admit that they have been 'conned', perhaps the real movement can be revived, but so much damage has been done, you may as well try and catch the wind.

Liberals are beyond hilarious, Their ability for rational thought is paralyzed by the hate for our President, They can no longer distinguish between fact and fiction, right and wrong, good and evil, If left unchecked we will all be bowing to Allah.

Read the answers from conservatives. Few will acknowledge mistakes he's made. He may not be worshiped in a religious sense, but being an apologist for him is just as bad.

then why do you defend his lack of leadership, incompetence, and weekly scandals by his Admin....if not for blindly following him...Why do you guys give him trust when it appears that the Constitution is "just a piece of paper" to him? I think you would be happy to have him as king. I recall a question and many answers supporting it that wanted the Constitution to be changed so that Bush could have 3 terms.

look up a movie called "jesus camp" and see if you still feel the same way. there are actually fanatical christian groups out there that brainwash their children in the same manner that muslim terrorists do, only to support conservative republican politics.

in the movie they actually make the kids pray for the president, and tell them that god wanted him to be the president.

so, its just the lunatics that they're talking about, like ann coulter. dont get me wrong, the same thing happens on the other side, but those people usually arent trying to keep american citizens from equal rights (ie Gays, minorities, legal immigrants, abortion laws, etc.).
